Quinta Couselo
Quinta de Couselo is an inherited estate located in O Rosal, a subregion of the Rías Baixas D.O. In 1163 it was acquired by the monks of the Oía monastery, experts in the great capacity of the lands for winegrowing. In 1935, with Mendizabal's confiscation, it became private property.
The estate "Da Quinta", the lot where the winery is located, has a surface area of two hectares of vineyards, made up primarily of albariño, loureira and white caiño vines. The two gentle pine trees, that are also the corporate image of the winery, have been witnesses to the history of O Rosal for the past 250 years.
