Lagar de Besada

A true passion for wine is what gave birth to this winery, which started in a family garage in the '80s. It was in 1988 when, along with the beginning of the Rías Baixas D.O, it became one of the first wineries to join the denomination of origin, taking the albariño as its distinguishing mark. Our philosophy is to fully respect the natural processes as well as our surroundings. The goal is to develop winemaking with little intervention and produce wines that are tied to the soil, that demonstrate the full potential of the albariño variety. At Lagar de Besada we offer visits to our facilities and the chance to experience up-close how albariño and bubbly wines are traditionally made.
