Pazo de Sobrán

In its construction, the remains of the old Cólogo Monastery (11th century) were used in Vilanova. Although it is formed by a central body flanked by two towers, thus offering the typical image of a pazo, has no balconies, or cornices, or battlements or gargoyles thus leaving a bare facade that is characterized by the severity and architectural austerity of the fortresses and strong houses at the same time that it hides behind its façade a small inner courtyard that gives light to a terraced body in which a single room is opened that rests in a row of simple columns. Its interior hosts a famous restaurant. Next to it is the parish church of San Martín, from the 12th century.
