At present, the historic site is made up of an ample square overlooked by the façades of the palace. A stone arch joins the palace with the walled spaces dedicated to the orchard, garden, vineyard and forest. Information dates the albariño vineyards in the palace orchard to before the 16th century. A vineyard that was maintained throughout the years until our present day. In the first third of the 20th century, the old vineyard was restructured and new scientific knowledge was applied to the vines. In recent years, investigation is underway about different steering systems and the quality of the soils through R+D+I programs. Since 1990, the tradition of distilling the spirits that result from winemaking was renewed, to produce spirits and liquors that are made following monks' ancient recipes, which today have disappeared. Those who are curious can schedule a visit with historical itineraries or a route through the vineyards with a wine tasting at the end.
