María Bargiela Rural Hotel
A mansion made of stone that dates back to the 18th century. The lower floor is dedicated to the winery, a part of the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin, where two old stone granaries are kept and where our wine "María Bargiela" is made, with the varieties of the region: albariño, treixadura and white loureira.
The house can be rented entirely with capacity for 6 to 10 people and is made up of:
• Three double rooms with private bathrooms.
• A quadruple bedroom with bathroom and sitting room,
• A living room and dining room with chimney and washroom with washing machine.
• An ample, fully-equipped kitchen (coffe machine, microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.).
Next to the house is a small house with an old bread oven, stone wash basin and wood oven that can be used as a barbecue.
There is also a beautiful fountain, below ground level, that can be accessed by a steep staircase; a granary with a stone roof and a wash basin.
The house is located in the parish of Porto, municipality of Salvaterra in a calm area close to the Miño river. It is 300 metres from the 15th century San Amaro chapel (in Mauro), the manor of the same name and just a kilometre away from the La Val winery.
