Marqués de Vizhoja Winery
Marqés de Vizhoja winery is a family company founded in 1968 by Don Mariano Pérez, and currently run by his two sons; Jorge (president) and Javier (oenologist).
Located on the banks of the Miño river, in one of the subregions of Rías Baixas D.O, its almost 40 hecatres of vineyards surround Pazo de la Moreira, a historical site that rises above the vineyards as an emblem of the winery.
The winegrowing tradition combines with innovation and new developments, to reach a level of excellence in each and every one of the company's products. Since 2016, Marqués de Vizhoja winery opens its doors to visitors offering quality wine tourism and cultural activities, adapted for all audiences.
VISIT
During the visit the different phases of production will be demonstrated, from reception and pressing of the grape, to bottling, including the maceration process and conservation of the wine in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Plus, visitors will discover the history of the Marqués de Vizhoja winery: its origins and place in the context of history.
After a stroll through the grounds, the visit will finish with a wine tasting of 2-3 wines, accompanied by appetizers.

Please reserve your visit at least 48 hours in advance. Minimum group size: 2 people. Mon-Fri: 11:30 and 16:00 / Sat-Sun: 11:30 and 16:30. Summer hours: Mon-Fri at 11:30 / Sat-Sun: 11:30 and 17:00.
