A winery with deep roots (it's documented that the large house has land dedicated to vineyards as far back as 1850), cautiously modernized just enough so that, without losing its identity, the albariño wine reaches our palates with all of its virtues intact. This estate and winery is known for its folk culture, treasured by three generations that are currently represented by Gerardo Méndez Lázaro, a winemaker of the present, respectful of the legacy he received, committed to the quality standards required by today's taster. The family estate looks out into the distance at the Arousa sea and the mouth of the Pontevedra river. In the heart of the Salnés valley, at the foot of Armenteira mountain and its monastery, the manor shelters both lodging and winery.
