ABOUT US

Welcome to the Ruta del Vino Rías Baixas! They say that wines always give away where they’re from, because they’re able to capture everything passed on to them from where they were born. On the Ruta del Vino Rías Baixas, we want you to experience our territory.

We’re a non-profit association that offers the most complete wine tourism experience in a remarkable area: Rías Baixas. With over two decades of history, we work with over one hundred partners who offer a multitude of options for discovering the world of wine from all points of view.

Take advantage and tour any of our partner wineries. They can all be visited! Enjoy wine tastings in the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin, in combination with stunning views, coastal trails, miles of vineyards, seaside activities, museums, first class lodging and restaurants and an extensive heritage of winegrowing. There are five areas in the region within which to create your own itinerary. We invite you to discover the unique localities of O Rosal, Condado do Tea, Soutomaior, Val do Salnés and Ribeira do Ulla, which extend from the border with Portugal in the Pontevedra province, until just south of A Coruña. All this, in addition to the activities we organise, will surprise you with their originality.

Ruta del Vino Rías Baixas wants to make your trip unforgettable and we work to offer wine tourism of the highest quality. This is why we are the only Galician itinerary to be included in the exclusive Rutas del Vino de España club, and the Guía de Rutas Enológicas Accesibles para Todas las Personas, edited by the platform Plataforma Representativa Estatal de Personas con Discapacidad Física (PREDIF).

Our land

Our route extends its roots throughout a singluar part of Galicia: Rías Baixas, an area known for its mosaic of blues and greens, conjured by the Atlantic Ocean and fertile Galician earth. From the region of Ribeira do Ulla, in the vicinity of Santiago de Compostela, to the area of O Rosal that borders with Portugal, passing through the famous lands of Salnés; Ruta do Viño Rías Baixas crosses West Galicia, tracing a fascinating route, from north to south, through beautiful landscapes of vineyards, coastlines, tranquil rivers and fertile valleys, highlighted by a soft Atalntic breeze.
